All
these photos were developed by my grandfather in his clandestine photo lab he ran while stationed
on the island of Tinian. He was in the 92nd Construction Battalion, A Company, Platoon 6. He
financed it with his craps winnings and had his
wife ship out the chemicals. His buddies would bring in film and prints to have copies made. The picture of the Nagasaki mushroom cloud is a copy made from the negatives. I would like to thank him, and
all those who served
before me, for their sacrifice so that others may be free. All photos are (c) 2006 Please do not
link or copy them. Any questions can be sent to deveyn(at)gmail.com.
